Descrição:
O Raizama é um santuário ecológico (RPPN), onde o córrego Raizama deságua no rio São Miguel formando uma lindíssima cachoeira de quase 50 metros de altura. Infelizmente não é possível visualizar a cachoeira de frente, porém isso não tira a beleza do local. A trilha tem 2,3 km de extensão com dificuldade média. Além das maravilhas naturais o Raizama oferece cultura e lazer sendo o palco frequente de shows musicais na região. Próximo a cachoeira do córrego Raizama, ainda visualizamos belas quedas no rio São Miguel, com destaque para uma pequena cachoeira que desagua com força em um pequeno Canyon.
Como Chegar?
O aeroporto mais próximo da Chapada dos Veadeiros é o de Brasília. Por isso, a melhor maneira de chegar até lá é de carro ou ônibus. Partindo da capital federal, que está a cerca de 250 km de Alto Paraíso, o viajante deve pegar a BR 020, em direção a Formosa (GO). Após a cidade de Planaltina, é preciso prestar atenção ao trevo que indica a GO 118, rodovia que leva a Alto Paraíso e passa por São Gabriel e São João D’Aliança. De lá, pegue a GO 327 (parcialmente asfaltada e parte em estrada de terra) em direção a Colinas do Sul e após passar a Vila de São Jorge entrar a esquerda (existem placas indicando o local).

How to get there?
The nearest airport to Chapada dos Veadeiros is Brasília. So the best way to get there is by car or bus.
